Rubsilent, who defines himself as a part-time DJ and full-time record collector, was introduced to house music in the 90s when electronic music culture started to spread in Turkey. From 96 onwards, as an electronic music enthusiast, he started to create a record archive just to listen to these underground tunes whenever he wanted. 

As the first electronic music venue on the Asian side of Istanbul, preclub named Loop, which brought house, techno and its derivatives to the masses, became the first place where he warmed up the dance floor with his selections as a resident DJ in 99. 

And in the years that followed, he shared his selections from his extensive archive, which varied from Chicago, New York based house and techno with Detroit tunes in different parts of the world. 

Among the world famous musicians he has shared the stage with are Derrick May, Juju & Jordash, A Guy Called Gerald, Tama Sumo, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Mystic Bill, Lil Louis, Slam.
